Description

On the obverse of the special coin for the 175 years of the Federal Constitution, made of 999.9 silver alloy and weighing 20 grams, the preamble of the Federal Constitution is reproduced; the main concepts are represented symbolically and blend into each other to reproduce an emblematic image of great impact. On the back there is an angel holding the Swiss flag. In view of the debate on the religious reference in the Federal Constitution, the Olten artist Peter Salzmann preferred to remove the angel's wings.
