Buckingham Palace, located in the Westminster area of London, is the official residence of the ruler of the United Kingdom, currently Charles III, and of all his predecessors since 1837. The expression "Buckingham Palace" or simply "The Palace" has become common to express everything that concerns the environments of the court and the royal family.
As well as being the official residence of the King, it is the place where numerous public ceremonies take place, from royal receptions to visits by various heads of state, and it is also a huge tourist attraction. His changing of the guard is famous throughout the world. “The Palace” has always represented a point of reference for its subjects, in joyful and sad moments in the history of the United Kingdom. The building occupies an area of 77,000 m²
The meticulous depiction of the facade of Buckingham Palace depicted on this coin is the work of Henry Gray and represents a valuable collector's item not only for the most attentive numismatists.
